Arrival in Shimla
Arrive in Shimla. Briefing and preparation for the Spiti expedition. Equipment check and overnight stay in Shimla.
DShimla to Kalpa
Drive from Shimla to Kalpa (7-8 hours) via Kinnaur region. En route visit Sutlej River valleys and apple orchards. Evening visit Kalpa Monastery.
B,DKalpa to Kaza
Scenic drive from Kalpa to Kaza via Nako, Tabo Monastery (1,000 years old). Afternoon arrive in Kaza, the capital of Spiti. Acclimatization walk.
B,DKaza Sightseeing
Visit Key Monastery, Kibber Village (one of the highest inhabited villages), Chicham Bridge (Asia's highest bridge), and Hikkim (world's highest post office).
B,DKaza to Chandratal Lake
Drive to Chandratal Lake (Moon Lake) via Kunzum Pass. Camp overnight near the pristine lake at 4,300 meters. Stargazing session.
B,DChandratal to Manali
Drive from Chandratal to Manali through the scenic Kunzum Pass and Rohtang Pass (6-7 hours). Evening free in Manali.
B,DDeparture from Manali
After breakfast, depart from Manali. Tour concludes.
