North Sikkim is the most pristine and adventurous region of Sikkim, offering breathtaking landscapes, high-altitude lakes, and remote valleys. Our North Sikkim Adventure package takes you to some of the most spectacular destinations in this region, including the sacred Gurudongmar Lake at 17,800 feet and the flower-filled Yumthang Valley.
This 7-day expedition requires special permits and is recommended for adventure enthusiasts who are comfortable with high altitudes. The journey takes you through some of the most dramatic mountain scenery in the Himalayas.
Arrival in Gangtok
Arrive at Bagdogra Airport. Drive to Gangtok (4-5 hours). Check in and orientation briefing. Evening explore MG Marg.
DGangtok Acclimatization
Visit Tsomgo Lake and Baba Mandir for altitude acclimatization. Afternoon visit Rumtek Monastery. Evening free for packing and preparation.
B,DGangtok to Lachung
Drive to Lachung (5-6 hours). En route visit Singhik View Point and the confluence of Lachen and Lachung rivers. Check in and evening rest.
B,DLachung to Gurudongmar Lake
Early morning drive to Gurudongmar Lake (one of the highest lakes in the world at 17,800 ft). Spend time at the sacred lake. Return to Lachung for overnight stay.
B,L,DYumthang Valley & Zero Point
Full day excursion to Yumthang Valley (Valley of Flowers). Continue to Zero Point for snow activities. Return to Lachung.
B,DLachung to Gangtok
Drive back to Gangtok (5-6 hours). Evening free for shopping and souvenir collection.
B,DDeparture
After breakfast, drive to Bagdogra Airport or NJP Railway Station for departure.
